There aren’t quite so many new features as in the last development update but the ones we do have are pretty cool! The newest version of Disa introduces Android Auto support, In-Chat New Message indicators, quoted message support, an improved SMS/MMS handling system and of course the usual bug fixes.
Android Auto - Android Auto is fully supported. Disa will run as usual and start automatically when you connect your device to a vehicle via Android Auto.
In-Chat New Message Indicators - Disa's in-chat new message indicators appear at under the last message you read in a conversation. They include a counter of the number of new messages received since then.
The indicators are especially useful in active group conversations where you can go and make a cup of tea or eat lunch, come back to 50 new messages and have no idea where you left it.
You can also press the button in the bottom right corner of the conversation view to advance directly to the latest message in the conversation.
Quoted Messages - Quoted Messages are currently only able to be received, not sent, but this will change in a future update.
