Hello!
This is the start of a monumental new year and we are excited to provide you with an update from the Disa Technologies team!
First, let’s look at our Proof of Concept (POC) period in which we conducted beta testing. Our first goal was to ensure that the technology behind Disa Messenger was stable enough to handle the integration of unlimited messaging platforms. The overwhelmingly positive response we received from our community that tested our POC was far beyond anything we could have predicted. We grew from a small collection of alpha testers on Google+ to an active global community of hundreds of thousands of members that gave feedback, in over 30 languages and 128 countries. With the invaluable assistance of our active feedback community, Disa organically reached 1 million active users within 12 months, and went completely viral without a single marketing dollar spent. Thanks to every last one of you for sharing Disa with your friends and family, posting about our app, and sharing your video reviews/demos online.
Disa Messenger’s beta period spanned from 2016-18, after which we had planned to remove the app from the Google Play Store as it was never meant to be a product we would maintain. However, after you voiced your opinion, we felt this decision would be unfair to those of you who continued to use, enjoy and rely on Disa beta for your everyday communications. When the POC testing concluded, we announced that the beta version of the app may have reduced functionality depending on our user’s region and whether they were a new or returning user. We made the conscious decision to allow the beta app to remain in the store while the team focused on securing our technology, growth, and long-term plans for a commercial release of the product across multiple platforms.
Coupled with the completion of our internal research, our meteoric growth was a clear sign that we should first protect Disa’s technology, which we have moved decisively and successfully to do. We have also been busy preparing for growth by building an exceptional, experienced team. This team will be responsible for transforming our successful beta product into the killer Disa Messenger v1.0 that our enthusiastic user base has been calling for. Our product team has completed the necessary addressable market, usability, and technical research to ensure that we will release product(s) that improve your daily communications and solve your organizational needs.
Messenger Platform Operators
Disa is looking forward to working with you as we build the most secure and organized messaging tool. Disa’s IP does not collect or store messages or personally identifiable user data and does not require external servers. We understand that your users expect secure, encrypted communication, so we have designed our framework to allow the messaging services we integrate to maintain this functionality. Disa is not a messaging service. Our design was curated to ensure that the users of your messaging platform will remain yours.
We cannot wait for everyone to experience our upgrades across all platforms. What we have accomplished here with our framework is truly groundbreaking. With the future commercial release of v1.0, users and businesses will spend less time jumping around apps and more time efficiently communicating.
The Disa team will update with more posts as we near significant milestones and important dates to come.
Thank you for your continued support,Team Disa
